If you are intending to install Spicer brand name gears into a Currie® 60 houisng, you'll need this spacer to go between the step in the pinion gear, and the pinion bearing preload spacers. The step in the spicer pinion gear is in a different position than aftermarket gears, so this .600" thick spacer compensates for that difference.
