Description: For 1987-2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ's and all years of LJ's, XJ's & MJ's with 231 transfer cases. Adds 2-wheel drive low range capability to your transfer case. Great for trails! It reduces loads on front differential for greater maneuverability on surfaces with good traction by eliminating bind. It provides a mechanical disconnect for front and rear output shafts while in neutral, thus allowing a true "neutral". The components consist of new sector and fork machined from 4140 steel and heat treated parts. This kit must be installed inside the transfer case.
