The Currie®-Built 12 Bolt
Chevy Rearend is a unique combination of Chevy and Currie®
components. The 12 bolt center section is combined with 9"
Ford-type housing ends that eliminate the need for c-clip eliminators
and allow the use of larger axle bearings with positive axle
retention. The Ford housing end allows the use of a wide selection
of disc or drum brake kits. The housing is then set up with
the highest-quality gears and carrier assemblies and finished
off with a set of Currie® performance alloy axles. The 12
bolt rear is well suited for street and performance applications
with up to 650 horsepower.
