Currie 9-inch full-floating rearends with RideTech brackets, are complete, ready to bolt-in assemblies, with a choice of differential type, gear ratio, and brake option, making it easy to customize the package to meet almost any need

Available in stock width or narrowed for mini-tubs, Currie Crate Rearends are built to match the vehicles stock pinion offset (drive shaft location) and wheel bolt pattern for a straightforward hassle-free installation

Centurion 9-inch   Currie Centurion Housing - Classic notchback looks in a new, high-strength, American-made housing, that features 3-inch diameter axle tubes, and CNC machined face flange, for a flat leak-free seal - all joined together with strong, attractive welds
     
 RideTech Brackets   RideTech Brackets - Heavy-duty laser cut 4-link and sway bar brackets are installed on the housing for a direct bolt-in fit with your RideTech suspension
     
Pro-touring Full-float Housing Ends   Full-Float Design - Improves rear brake performance by eliminating pad knockback during hard cornering and increases safety by maintaining wheel alignment and retention in the event of an axle failure
     
  Race Gear Case - New nodular iron race case with aluminum Daytona big bearing pinion support and 1350 yoke provides the perfect foundation for a performance-oriented build - no used or reconditioned parts here!
     
Master Bearin Kit   Timken Bearings - High-quality Timken bearings and performance seals are used throughout to provide a long trouble-free service life
     
Extreme Unit Bearing   Full-Float Extreme Duty Unit Bearing - Feature a custom heat treated 4140 chromoly spindle and face flange for the ultimate in strength and durability. Bolt pattern is GM 5 on 4.750 with .5 x 3" studs installed

Ring and Pinion   Gear Ratio - Currie uses only the highest quality Motive Gear Performance® series (Orange box) ring and pinion sets - no skimping here!
     
Differential Options   Differential - Select the differential type that meets your traction needs, including standard open, helical gear or clutch style limited slip, automatic or selectable locking differential or steel spool
     
 Brake Packages   Brake Package - Select from a range of brake options 11-inch to 14-inch Baer and Wilwood disk brakes that are capable of meeting any performance requirement
     
REM Gear Polishing   REM® Isotropic Polishing - Removes surface imperfections created during the gear manufacturing process. Polishing eliminates the break-in period, decreases friction, reduces operating temps and removes stress risers. This option helps gears last longer and run quieter
     
Fill Cap   Fill Cap - Make oil changes easy with the optional high mounted billet aluminum fill cap
     
Drain Plug   Drain Plug - This simple option makes changing the oil so much easier - no more removing the brakes, axles and the third member for a simple oil change
     
Powder Coat   Powder Coat - Optional powder coat finish adds long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion to keep your rearend looking its best

NOTES:

Lubrication Requirements - 9-inch rearends use a high-offset hypoid gear design that requires a severe duty gear oil with API GL-6 rating. Use of oil not meeting the GL-6 rating will damage the gears and bearings and void the Currie Warranty

4-Link Suspension - These rearends are designed for 67-81 F-body vehicles with RideTech 4-link suspension only

Aftermarket Brakes - Currie crate rearends conform to the ABCS (Aftermarket Brake Configuration Standard). This allows brake kits that use this standard, to easily be changed or upgraded without having to modify the housing or axles. ABCS brakes use a 2.5-inch brake space with late-model big bearing Ford housing ends, and a 2.80 center hole in the drum or rotor

Wheel Studs - Currie crate rearends use a standardized-shank Currie Enterprises wheel studs that allow the following wheel studs to be interchangeable in the axles, without drilling: 12mm, 7/16, 1/2, and 1/2 x 3-inch competition
