The Currie 44 for 1997 thru 2006 Wrangler TJ and LJ provide a significant strength and performance upgrade over the factory Dana 35/44 series axles at a price point that won't break the bank. The Currie 44 low-pinion rear axle for the 1997 thru 2006 Wrangler TJ/LJ is a direct bolt-in axle assembly with all required brackets and mounts in place. The vehicle's factory driveshaft and brakes will be retained and installed on the new axle.

Currie 44 Rear Axle Features

		Currie 44 low-pinion nodular iron center section features 14 lbs of additional reinforcement, with thicker walls and webbing to deliver superior strength and rigidity

		3-inch diameter x .375 wall tubes are greater than 2x the strength of the factory 35/44 2.5 diameter x .250 axle tubes

		Currie Performance 30-spline heat-treated chromoly axles provide increased strength and durability over the stock axles

		Rock-proof Currie nodular iron front cover protects expensive internals and adds structural support to the housing's face flange

		Axles feature the factory 5x4.5 wheel bolt pattern so that you can keep those nice wheels
