The Currie Extreme 60 low-pinion full-float rear axle for 2007 thru 2018 JK/JKU, is the perfect solution for daily drivers, or overland builds with tires up to 42-inches.     Like its high-pinion cousins, the Extreme 60 low-pinion center section maximizes gear strength with thicker walls and massive reinforcement in all critical areas
     
  Large 3.5 in. diameter x .375 in. wall axle tubes (left) are more than 2 times stronger than the stock axle tubes (right) without being overweight or sacrificing ground clearance
     
Powder Coat   Black satin powder coat finish adds long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion to keep your Currie Extreme 60 looking its best
     
  Desert race-inspired billet steel full-floating hubs carry the weight of the vehicle, eliminating the influence of side loading and impact shock on axle durability. Big 13.750" vented rotors and OE JT calipers provide the stopping power out back
     
  Currie Performance 40-spline full-floating chromoly axles are the largest in the industry, and provide 1.5 x the strength of 35-spline chromoly axles

Notes

ABS Sensors: Does not include ABS sensors, the factory sensors from the stock axle must be retained and installed on the Currie Axle

Computer Programming: 2012 and newer vehicles require a computer programmer to reset the gear ratio and tire height in the vehicle's computer for the proper function of the vehicles stability control and transmission shift points

Driveshaft: A replacement driveshaft compatible with the larger 60 housing and 1350 yoke is required. Spicer PN 10113217 is recomended (verify manufacturer vehicle fitment)

Wheel and Tire Size: 17-inch or larger wheels are required for proper clearance of the brake calipers. Wheels must have a 4.9-inch (125 mm) hub bore with a recommended 4.5-inch backspace. The maximum recommended tire size is 42 inches

Overall Width: Axle width is 70-inches (+4.6 inches over stock) between wheel mounting surfaces. Additional width improves turning angle with 37-inch and larger tires
