Currie F9 fabricated 9-inch front axle assembly delivers the off-road race-inspired style with the strength, and durability enthusiast desire. The F9 fabricated housing features a heavy-duty one-piece CNC formed and gusseted Chromoly center section that reduces unsprung weight by more than 50 pounds compared to a cast center. The F9 is designed for severe off-road use with up to 40-inch tires and V8 conversion horsepower. PROP 65 WARNING:

The Currie F9 axle for the 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator truck, is a complete bolt-in axle assembly with all required brackets and mounts in place. The vehicles factory driveshaft will require modification or replacement to accommodate the larger and stronger 1350 series u-joint.

 

Built to the legendary Currie Standard with exclusive features including:

  CNC formed 4130 chromoly body with internal gussets, tube support bulkheads, and thick face flange all joined together with strong, attractive welds. Center is 50 lbs lighter than a 60 series cast center with iron cover
     
  Currie nodular iron 3rd. member set up with ARB Air Locker, big bearing pinion support and 1350 yoke for the utmost strength and reliability
     
  Large 3.5-inch diameter .375 wall axle tubes (left) are three times stronger than the stock JK Dana® 44 (right) without being overweight or sacrificing ground clearance
     
  Massive forged 1-ton inner knuckles (right) are designed to stand up to the severe punishment of larger tires without flinching. Stock JK knuckle left
     
  Upper control arm mounts feature rebuildable Johnny Joints® for maximum suspension articulation with unsurpassed durability
     
  Big 13-inch diameter vented rotors (over 1-inch larger than stock) provide the increased brake torque required for stopping large tires

Notes

ABS Sensors - Does not include ABS sensors, the factory sensors from the stock axle must be retained and installed on the Extreme 60 housing

Computer Programming: 2012 and newer vehicles require a computer programmer, such as the AEV ProCal Module to reset the gear ratio and tire height in the vehicle's computer for proper function of the vehicles stability control and transmission shift points

Brake Upgrade: The big brake kit included with the Currie F9 includes 13-inch rotors with dual-piston calipers to provide the stopping power required for 37-inch and larger tires

Wheel and Tire Size: 17-inch or larger wheels are required for proper clearance of the brake calipers. Maximum recommended tire size is 40-inches

Wheel Bolt Pattern: Requires wheels with 5 on 5 1/2"

Wheel Studs: Includes 1/2 inch wheel studs

Overall Width: Axle width is 70-inches (+4.6 inches over stock) between wheel mounting surfaces. Additional width improves turning angle with 37-inch and larger tires

Steering Stabilizer: Ram assist brackets are not compatible with and exclude the use of conventional steering stabilizers
