For pro-touring, road race and hot rod builders we present the Turn 9 Aluminum Independent 9-inch Center Section complete with choice of aluminum gear case, gear ratio and differential type! Engineered for weight savings and strength, the housing features a CNC formed aluminum plate body, billet face and housing ends that are TIG welded into a single ridged piece that weighs just 24 lbs when configured with 35-spline 934 inner stub axles.

The unit features simple end bulkhead mounting for easy integration into a wide variety of chassis styles and is compatible with the full spectrum of aftermarket 9-inch gear cases. Options include 934 or Series 30 CV 35-spline inner stub axles, and choice of fully assembled lightweight aluminum third members with a broad selection of gear ratio and differential types.

  Aluminum Body - Fully TIG welded construction provides strength and attractive appearance
     
  Face Plate - .5-inch thick face plate ties the body and end bulkheads together for added rigidity. Clearanced for 10-inch ring gear
     
  Threaded Inserts - All mounting points have keyed locking threaded inserts for durability and strength
     
  Integrated Mounting - Housing end bulkheads have 6 threaded holes per side for attachment of the optional mounting plate
     
  Fill Plug - Integrated aluminum fill and drain plugs simplifies fluid changes

    Stub Axles - Choice of 934 or series 300 CV inner stub axles with standard 9-inch 35-spline ends
     
  Gear Cases - Choice of  aluminum gear cases designed for hi-performance and maximum weight savings
     
  Gear Ratios - Select from Motive Gear Performance series (Orange Box) gear sets in ratios ranging from 3.00 to to 5.14
     
  Diferential Types - Choice of 35-spline helical gear limited slip, automatic or selectable locking differentials or steel spool (See below for option details)
     
  Pinion Yoke - Choice of 1350 short yokes in forged steel, billet steel or billet aluminum
