The Currie® 60 high-pinion performance axle for the Jeep Wrangler TJ, is a complete bolt-in axle assembly with all required brackets and mounts in place. The vehicles factory driveshaft will require modification or replacement to accommodate the larger 60 series housing and 1350 series u-joint.

RockJock Skid Plate   Rock Slider - Integrated AR400 hardened steel skid plate resists deformation and gouging to slide over obstacles far better than iron housings or mild steel plates
     
  Large diameter outer pinion bearing (right) is designed for the demands of reverse rotation/high pinion housings. Stock low pinion bearing (left)
     
  High volume flow-thru recirculating oil system keeps pinion bearings bathed in cool oil, reducing operating temperatures and eliminating oil starvation issues
     
  Large 3-inch diameter .375” thick wall axle tubes (left) are more than twice as strong as the stock Dana® 44 (right) without sacrificing ground clearance or being overweight

Notes:

Axle Width - Optional axle width of 64 inches wide between wheel mounting surfaces, 3 inches wider than the stock TJ/LJ axle assembly. The additional width provides greater frame clearance required for 35" or 37" inch tires. If you are retaining the stock TJ/LJ front axle, wheel spacers (1.5") can be used to match the rear track width (Note: wheel spacers place additional load on frontend components, negatively impacting service life and component reliability). Upgrading the front axle to a Currie 60 TJ/LJ axel solves this issue as its 64 inches wide

Sway Bar - The factory TJ/LJ rear sway bar must be flipped side to side (installed upside down) to be used with a high pinion Currie 60. However, due to its design, the factory sway bar will interfere/limit the housings downward travel at full droop.

5/8 inch Wheel Studs - Typically a race only option, as wheel modification is usually required for proper fitment

Brakes – Currie offers several brake options that provide improved performance over the factory drum brakes, and that is designed to work with the stock TJ/LJ master cylinder and booster. If larger brakes are desired, contact sales to discuss, as several options are available

Axles and  Bearings – If no brake option is selected, the axles and bearings will be shipped loose (bearings not be pressed on), enabling the brake components of your choosing to be installed on the axles before the bearings
