Small Bearing Housing End Set - Slide-In Style

The new billet steel small bearing housing ends from Currie are specially machined to allow them to be used in a variety of applications. For those using the stock '64-'66 Mustang axle tubes that are 2 1/4" diameter, that tube will hub into the recess machined into the back of this housing end. For those using 2 3/4" axle tubes, the o.d. of the back of the housing end is 2 3/4" allowing the end to be butted up to the tube and welded right on. If 3" diameter tubes are being used, the back of the housing end may be machined so that it can be slid into 3" x .188" wall or 3" x .250" wall tubes. This housing end accepts the standard CE-8001 2.834" o.d. small axle bearing and the CE-8014D axle seal which is the stock 2.085" diameter seal for '64-'66 Mustang applications (but can be used in any small bearing application).
