Currie 9-inch rear ends for 2005 thru 2014 5th gen Mustang are complete, ready-to-bolt-in assemblies with a choice of gear case, axle spline, differential type, and gear ratio, making it easy to customize the package to meet almost any need

Currie 9-inch rear-ends are built to match the vehicle's stock axle width, pinion offset, suspension mounting locations, and wheel bolt pattern for a straightforward, hassle-free installation

Retains the vehicle's factory brakes and ABS functionality.

F9 Housing Center   Currie F9 - American-made housing features a high-strength fabricated center section with internal tube gussets and CNC machined face flange with 3-inch diameter axle tubes - all joined with strong, attractive welds to deliver superior strength and durability
     
Sportsman Third Member   Currie Sportsman - A new nodular iron third member with Daytona big bearing pinion support and 1350 yoke is the perfect foundation for building a performance Mustang
     
Timken Bearings   Master Bearing Kit - High-quality bearings and performance seals are used throughout to provide a long, trouble-free service life
     
Suspension Brackets   Suspension Brackets - Coil spring pads and control arm mounts are installed in the OEM locations for a direct bolt-in fit
     
Billet Housing End   Housing Ends - Currie billet late model large bearing housing ends are CNC machined for accuracy and designed for compatibility with stock and OE fitment aftermarket 05-14 Mustang disk brake assemblies
     
Currie Performance Axles   Currie Axles - Performance 31-spline 1541 alloy axles include ABS tone rings and factory-matched bolt pattern and wheel stud size
     
Caliper brackets   Caliper Brackets - Enables the retention of the vehicle's stock rear disk brakes and ABS sensors.

Ring and Pinion Set   Gear Ratio - Select from a wide variety of ratios, Currie uses only the highest quality Motive Gear Performance® series (Orange box) ring and pinion sets in our 9-inch rear-ends
     
Differential Options   Differential - Select the differential type that meets your traction needs, including helical gear or clutch-style limited-slip, automatic locking differential, or steel spool
     
Isotropic Gear Polishing   REM® Isotropic Polishing - Removes surface imperfections created during the gear manufacturing process. Polishing eliminates the need for a break-in period, decreases friction, reduces operating temps, and removes stress risers. This option helps gears last longer and run quieter
     
Powder Coat   Powder Coat - Optional powder coat finish adds long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion to keep your rear-end looking its best

 

 

NOTES:

Panhard Bar - This unit requires a custom track bar to clear the rear of the fabricated housing.

Lubrication Requirements - 9-inch rear-ends use a high-offset hypoid gear design requiring severe duty gear oil with API GL-6 rating. Oil not meeting the GL-6 rating will damage the gears and bearings and void the Currie Warranty. See Currie Racing Gear Oil P/N CE-9013 or CE-9015

Brakes - Retains the vehicle's OEM factory disc brakes. Not compatible with GT 500 disc brakes

Wheel Studs - Currie rear-ends use standardized-shank Currie Enterprises wheel studs that allow the following wheel studs to be interchangeable in the axles without drilling: 12mm, 7/16, 1/2, and 1/2 x 3-inch competition
