Currie 9-inch crate rearends are built to match the vehicles stock axle width, pinion offset, suspension mounting locations and wheel bolt pattern for a straightforward, hassle-free installation

Retains the vehicles stock factory brakes or aftermarket brakes that are compatible with the factory rearend

F9 Housing Center   Currie F9 - American-made housing features high-strength fabricated A715 alloy steel center section with internal tube gussets, and thick CNC machined face flange, with 3-inch diameter axle tubes - all joined with strong, attractive welds to deliver superior strength and durability
     
Upper Control Arm Mount   Currie Johnny Joint® - In the upper control arm mount reduce suspension deflection while freeing up axle articulation for smooth, predictable performance - without the noise, vibration and harness of heim joints
     
Sportsman Third Member   Currie Sportsman - New nodular iron third member with Daytona big bearing pinion support and 1330 yoke, is the perfect foundation for building a performance Mustang

RIng and Pinion   Gear Ratio – Select from a wide range of ratios. Currie uses only the highest quality Motive Gear Performance® series (Orange box) ring and pinion sets in our 9-inch crate rearends
     
Differential Options   Differential Options - Select the differential type that meets your traction needs, including standard open, helical gear or clutch-style limited-slip, automatic or selectable locking differential or steel spool
     
Isotrppic Gear Polish   REM® Isotropic Polishing - Removes surface imperfections created during the gear manufacturing process. Polishing eliminates the need for a break-in period, decreases friction, reduces operating temps, and removes stress risers. Polishing helps gears last longer and run quieter
     
Fill Cap   Fill Cap - Make those oil changes easy with the optional high mounted aluminum fill cap
     
Drain Plug   Drain Plug - This simple option makes changing the oil so much easier - no more pulling the brakes, axles and third member out for a simple oil change
     
Powder Coat   Powder Coat - Optional powder coat finish adds long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion to keep your rearend looking its best

NOTES:

Track Bar Bracket - This unit requires the use of the CE-9120M Currie Johnny Joint® adjustable rear trac bar for proper fitment.

Lubrication Requirements - 9-inch rearends use a high-offset hypoid gear design that requires a severe duty gear oil with API GL-6 rating. The use of an oil not meeting the GL-6 rating will damage the gears and bearings and void the Currie Warranty. See Currie Racing Gear Oil P/N CE-9013 or CE-9015

Brakes - The Currie crate rearend retains the vehicles stock factory brakes or aftermarket brakes that are compatible with the stock factory rearend

Wheel Studs - Currie crate rearends use a standardized-shank Currie Enterprises wheel studs that allow the following wheel studs to be interchangeable in the axles, without drilling: 12mm, 7/16, 1/2, and 1/2 x 3-inch competition
