Currie 9-inch rearends for 1964 thru 1972 Chevelle, El Camino, Malibu, Cutlass, Skylark, GTO, 442, Gran Sport, Tempest, and other A-body vehicles, are complete, ready to bolt-in assemblies with a choice of axle size, differential type, gear ratio, and brake option, making it easy to customize the package to meet almost any need

Rearends are built to match the vehicles stock axle width, pinion offset, suspension mounting locations and wheel bolt pattern for a straightforward hassle-free installation

Centurion Notchback Housing   Currie Centurion Housing - Classic notchback looks in a new,  high-strength, American-made housing, that features 3-inch diameter axle tubes, and CNC machined face flange, for a flat, leak-free seal - all joined together with strong, attractive welds
     
  Drain Plug - This standard feature makes routine maintenance so much easier - no more removing the brakes, axles, and the third member for a simple oil change
     
Currie Sportsman Third member   Currie Sportsman Case- New nodular iron gear case with Daytona big bearing pinion support and 1330 yoke is the perfect foundation for a performance restomod build - no used or reconditioned parts here!
     
Timken Master Bearing Kit   Master Bearing Kit - High-quality Timken bearings and performance seals are used throughout to provide a long trouble-free service life

Isotropic Gear Polishing   REM® Isotropic Polishing - Removes surface imperfections created during the gear manufacturing process. Polishing eliminates the need for a break-in period, decreases friction, reduces operating temps, and removes stress risers. This option helps gears last longer and run quieter
     
Fill Cap   Fill Cap - Make those oil changes easy with the optional high mounted aluminum fill cap
     
Powder Coat   Powder Coat - Optional powder coat finish adds long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion to keep your rearend looking its best

NOTES:

Lubrication Requirements - 9-inch rearends use a high-offset hypoid gear design that requires a severe duty gear oil with API GL-6 rating. Use of oil not meeting the GL-6 rating will damage the gears and bearings and void the Currie Warranty

1967 Chevelle - 64-66 Chevelles had a flat style spring pad on the housing which was used up to early 67. This housing may be used in your 67, but you must first check the spring pad type to make sure it is the right one for your vehicle

Aftermarket Brakes - Currie crate rearends conform to the ABCS (Aftermarket Brake Configuration Standard). This allows brake kits that use this standard, to easily be changed or upgraded without having to modify the housing or axles. ABCS brakes use a 2.5-inch brake space with late-model big bearing Ford housing ends, and a 2.80 center hole in the drum or rotor

Wheel Studs - Currie crate rearends use a standardized-shank Currie Enterprises wheel studs that allow the following wheel studs to be interchangeable in the axles, without drilling:  12mm, 7/16, 1/2, and 1/2 x 3-inch competition
