This 100% new Ford 9-inch housing features our heavy-duty notchback housing with axle tubes that are swaged from 3-inches down to 2.250 and small bearing housing ends installed (just like the original), with replica leaf spring pads mounted in the OE location

Currie 9-inch Replica Housings are a direct bolt-in replacement for the stock factory 8-inch or 9-inch housings and will accept the original stock 9-inch housing's 28-spline third member, axles and wheel bearings as well as the OE brake components

If upgrading from an OE 8-inch rearend (typically the case), a new 9-inch 28-spline third member will be required to complete the installation

 

This housing is not intended for Concourse level restoration projects, as the weld appearance (ours look much better), vent location and style differ from the original equipment. Additionally, we've eliminated the ugly fill plug from the rear cover
