NOTES:

GMC Trucks - Due to frame and suspension variations between model years, please call for a quote

Panhard Bar - The stock factory panhard bar cannot be re-used with this rear end; it requires an aftermarket bar that attaches to the trailing arm, which are readily available from most aftermarket suspension manufacturers

Lubrication Requirements - 9-inch rear-ends use a high-offset hypoid gear design requiring severe duty gear oil with API GL-6 rating. Use of oil not meeting the GL-6 rating will prematurely wear gears and bearings and void the Currie Warranty

Aftermarket Brakes - Currie rear ends conform to the ABCS (Aftermarket Brake Configuration Standard). This allows brake kits that use this standard to easily be changed or upgraded without modifying the housing or axles. ABCS brakes use a 2.5-inch brake space with late-model big-bearing Ford housing ends and a 2.80 center hole in the drum or rotor

Wheel Studs - Currie rear ends use standardized-shank Currie Enterprises wheel studs that allow the following wheel studs to be interchangeable in the axles without drilling: 12mm, 7/16, 1/2, and 1/2 x 3-inch competition

Currie 9-inch rear ends for 1960 thru 1998 Chevy C10 and C1500 two-wheel-drive trucks are complete, ready-to-bolt-in assemblies with a choice of gear case, axle spline, differential type, gear ratio, and brake option, making it easy to customize the package to meet almost any need
